In 2015 we also continued to promote community development through a number of direct initiatives, including by improving access to quality education. These activities included funding educational programs for underprivileged children; providing financial support for the construction of buildings at the Darussyafi?yyah Islamic School, and providing avenue eat Bintaro Jaya Xchange Mall for an educational themed picnic organized by Permata Bank for disadvantaged children. We also created the BXplorers Club, which is a community for children aged 12 and under, organized by Bintaro Jaya Xchange Mall, that offers weekly activities focusing on learning, creativity and building self-esteem through cooking, learning about science, learning about astronomy, story-telling sessions, learning to create arts from recycled products, and many others. We also partnered with the Red Nose Foundation, a pioneering force behind creative education advocacy and rehabilitation, to put on a circus show at Bintaro Jaya Xchange Mall?s 2015 year end event. This event was aimed at supporting their efforts to educate and develop children living in underprivileged circumstances and to promote the empowerment of youth through arts. In addition, through the Jaya Group?s educational foundation, Yayasan Pendidikan Jaya, we support several educational institutions, including the Pembangunan Jaya University (UPJ) in Sawah Baru, Bintaro Jaya. We completed the construction of UPJ?s new campus in 2015 and also collaborate on a number of their educational programs. We also award scholarships to a number of deserving students each year.
