BRIEF HISTORY

The Company established in 1979 under the name of PT. Bintaro Raya by virtue of Law on Domestic Investment on May 25, 1979, Deed No. 36 drawn up by Hobropoerwanto, SH., and amended by virtue of Deed No. 14 drawn up by the same notary public on December 6, 1979. The deed of incorporation is rati ed by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia as indicated in Decree No. Y.A 5/498/24 dated December 22, 1979 and publicized in the Official Gazette No. 23 dated March 18, 1980, Supplement No. 148. SCOPE OF COMPANY'S ACTIVITIES

The scope of company?s activities shall be urban development consisting of development of housing and industrial estate, development of infrastructure and public facilities, provision of supporting services, and making investment, either directly and indirectly through subsidiary entities or establishing joint venture with the other parties. The main activity of company at present is developing housing in the area of Jakarta Selatan and Tangerang as well as property business management. The business activities consist of land clearance, real estate developments and tenancy of shopping centers.

CODE OF CONDUCT

The ethical and behavioral standards expected to be adopted and and practiced by all employed by the Company are defined in the Code of Conduct. Upholding these standards helps to ensure that the rights and interests of all stakeholders, both internal and external, are protected in all the Company?s interactions and transactions. Some of the behaviors described in the Code of Conduct are included in the Key Behavior Indicators (KBI) against which employees? performance is assessed. Reports of violations of the Code of Conduct are referred to the Group?s Ethics Committee, which reviews each case and makes recommendations on follow-up actions, including sanctions if necessary.
